Scottish Rite Flag Presentation is Oklahoma TV News Item

OK Masonic Flag Ceremony News Segment from Scottish Rite on Vimeo.

The Tulsa Valley’s annual Flag Day celebration for 2010 was filmed by local station KTUL, and became a news item. The program presented this year for our members and guests began with a recitation of “That Ragged Old Flag” by Br. Ronald J. Chambers, 33rd, accompanied by appropriate music and images. Immediately following, Keith Madden, 33rd, read a narration explaining what each fold of the flag symbolizes. During this recitation, GYSGT Kent D. Garrison, SGT. Timothy J. Weber, and SGT. Christopher Cano of the Tulsa area Marine Corps recruiting command, and 1SGT John F. Nein, USAR (ret), 32nd, folded the flag with the high degree of precision that the ceremony demands. This portion of the evening’s presentation was presented as a segment of KTUL’s local news to celebrate Independence Day.
