The Most Exalted Master of the S.N.I.P.E. Degree Conferred in Washington, D.C.

written by

imageA new Masonic honor of great dignity and solemnity (or so they said) debuted in Washington, D.C., on February 9, 2007, during “Masonic Week.” The S.N.I.P.E. (Superfluous, Non-Existent, Indignant, Placard of Excellence) “Degree” was conferred on 150 Masons from the United States, Canada, the U.K., Brazil, Romania, and France who attended the premier ceremony.

Bro. William A. Isabelle, 32°, explained, “The premise of this Degree is the representation of the well-loved Mason we all encountered when we first started our journey in the Craft. He’s the brother who is a member of every Masonic organization in the world, and he has a lapel pin for each one and sometimes he wears all of them when he comes to Lodge.”

The S.N.I.P.E. Degree follows the Masonic career of John Patrick Claire Ahkmed Shlomo Pierre Joachim Hubris, the Most Illustrious Exalted Grand Grand Master of the Most Illusionary Grande Logia Nostro Perpetuam, E.M.A.T.T.A.F. & A.M. (Even More Ancient Than The Ancient Free and Accepted Masons). Most Worshipful Grand Grand Master Hubris is presented with the Distinguishmentum Regium Imperium Ubiquiter by the members of Ludificatio Lodge No. 0 E.M.A.T.T.A.F. & A.M., the most ancient of Lodges in the system, and is thanked graciously for his attendance and acceptance of the “Weightiest Honor in All of Freemasonry.” MWGGM John Hubris is honored as a token of appreciation for making available to Masonry his fabulous inventions, known to all of us as the “Make A Mason In A Minute Machine” and the “Past Master Amplifier.”

The S.N.I.P.E. degree was written by members of Esoterika Lodge No. 316 and performed by the NW Players, representing some the most active Masonic bodies in Washington State. For more information on this rarest and most solemn Masonic honor, contact Bro. William A. Isabelle, 32°, at WilliamIsabelle@sasktel.net or visit http://www.esoterikalodge.net for more pictures of the SNIPE Degree.
