Members of various fraternal and military support organizations presented medals, ribbons, and certificates to exceptional cadets in the Michael J. Jordan Gymnasium at the school.

The Valley of Joplin, Missouri, held a one-day reunion at Mount Zion Lodge No. 327, West Plains, Missouri, on May 17, 2008, for twenty-one candidates. The hosts included WM Mike Topliff, 32°, and Bros. Randy Upton, KCCH, and Justin Harrison, KCCH. Bro. Harrison’s grandfather, Ill. Truell Harrison, 33° passed away two years ago, and this class was named in his honor.
