The Supreme Council, 33°, (Mother Council of the World) for the Southern Jurisdiction of the United States of America celebrated its 208th year at its 2009 biennial session in Washington, D.C. Starting with Vesper Services on Sunday, October 4, and continuing through the Grand Commander’s Ball on Tuesday, October 6, nearly 900 members and their guests participated in the solemn pageantry of a Supreme Council meeting.

Dunedin Lodge No. 192 F&AM is located in Dunedin, Florida, a town in the Tampa Bay area with a strong Scottish heritage. They have about 200 members, of which about thirty attend meetings—forty on a good night. The Secretary noticed that attendance is high in the spring but low in autumn (they’re dark for the summer).
