Lecture Presented by Benjamin B. French, Lodge No. 15
On Wednesday, February 7th, 2007, as part of “Masonic Week” festivities, the House of the Temple provided a magnificent setting for the panel discussion “Christian Mysticism and the High Degrees: an exploration of the Rosicrucian traditions and their effects upon masonic legend and practice.” The panel included:
Dr. William G Krach, D.O., F.A.A.F.P., Supreme Grand Magus, Fraternitas Rosae Crucis & AEth Priesthood, Church of the Illumination (Rosicrucian);
R. Wor. Fra. Piers A. Vaughn, Member, High Council MSRICF (Masonic Rosicrucians U.S.A.), Past Cheif Adept SRIC (Masonic Rosicrucians, Canada);
Ill. S. Brent Morris, PhD, Noted Masonic author and managing editor of The Scottish Rite Journal, Senior Warden, Quatour Coronati Lodge No. 2076 (London, England).
After each panel member gave a ten minute opening, they then took questions from the approximately 150 assembled guests. “I realy enjoyed the conversation and atmosphere of friendly debate for the purpose of enlightenment,” said Ill. Bro. Morris.
The event was preceded by a champagne and wine reception, hosted by local D.C. Lodge Benjamin B. French, No. 15.
