~ GENERAL INFORMATION ~

HOTEL RESERVATIONS. Out-of-town Brethren of the Southern Jurisdiction who expect to attend the Session should make their own reservations directly with the Capital Hilton or the hotel of their choice. The Grand Executive Director's staff will make hotel reservations for invited Officers of other Supreme Councils and National Grand Lodges in Amity, and Allied Masonic Organizations.

REGISTRATION. The Supreme Council will, upon receipt of their Guest Registration forms, pre-register Actives, Deputies, invited Officers from Supreme Councils and National Grand Lodges in Amity and from Allied Masonic Organizations. There will be opportunity for pre-registration on Sunday, October 5, in the Continental Room at the Capital Hilton Hotel from 9:00 a.m. until noon, at which time Entertainment and Banquet tickets will be available. Otherwise, tickets will be issued to pre-registrants and other members during Registration at the House of the Temple, which begins at 8:00 a.m. on Monday, October 6, and continues through Tuesday noon. With the exception of invited Officers from other Supreme Councils, National Grand Lodges, and Allied Masonic Organizations, volunteer workers at the Session (including the 33° Conferral Team members), and Special Guests of the Grand Commander, every member attending the Biennial Session will be charged a $100 registration fee, regardless of the number of activities he participates in on Sunday, Monday, and/or Tuesday during the Session. The fee covers the member's wife or guest.

LADIES AND GUESTS. Ladies of registered Biennial Session Attendees and Special Guests of the Supreme Council are invited to participate in the following events: Sunday's Vesper Service at St. John's Church (4:00 p.m.) and the reception that follows it at the House of the Temple (5:30 p.m.); Monday's luncheon (12:00 p.m.) following the opening of the Biennial Session, that day's sight-seeing tours (1:30 p.m.), and that evening's entertainment at the historic Warner Theatre (8:30 p.m.); Tuesday's sight-seeing tours (8:30 a.m.), Research Society Meeting (10:00 a.m.), and Gala Banquet (7:00 p.m.).

Transportation provided from church to House of the Temple following service.

Reception - George Washington Memorial Banquet Hall, House of the Temple, 1733 16th Street NW, Washington, D.C.

Transportation provided back to the Capital Hilton Hotel following reception.

Conferral of the Thirty-third Degree at the
Washington, D.C., Scottish Rite Temple Observers: Thirty-third Degree identification card required for admittance, dark suit & cap; Elects: Conferral Degree receipt required foradmittance, black tie.

Prior to the Conferral Ceremony (between announcement of 33° elections and noon on Tuesday), Thirty-third Degree Elects being conferred must pay fee in the Accounting Dept. and then sign the Book of Gold in the Library at the House of the Temple, 1733 16th Street, NW., Washington, D.C.

Return transportation will be provided to hotel after the Conferral.
