"Patchwork" is the collaborative effort of 9-year-old Erin of Carrollton, Texas; 5-year-old Johnathan of Odessa, Texas; 6-year-old Briana of Southlake, Texas; 10-year-old Raven of Little Elm, Texas; and 9-year-old Emily of Dallas, Texas.

Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children (TSRHC) is located in Dallas, Texas, and was founded in 1921 by Texas Masons to treat children afflicted with polio. Since the eradication of polio in the United States in 1956 with the Salk and Sabin vaccines, the Hospital has been committed to treating children with orthopedic conditions, certain related neurological disorders and learning differences, without ever charging a patient's family. Although the hospital was founded by Masons, today TSRHC is supported solely by voluntary donations. One of the many ways to support the children is by purchasing holiday cards designed by the hospital's patients themselves.

Patient-designed holiday cards have been a holiday tradition at TSRHC since 1991. These special cards depict the childlike joy that fills us all during the holidays and are a meaningful way to send holiday cheer to your friends and loved ones. Purchasing these cards helps TSRHC continue offering the finest medical treatment. All proceeds from the sale of these cards go directly for the care of the hospital's children.
